Question:
Is there anything special I need to know about caring for my fast drawing or preserving it?
Answer:
Remember to make some photocopies for yourself and others before you mount your fast drawing
in a frame. A reduced image, can even be imprinted on coffee mugs, dinner plates, or T-shirts,
as a wonderful gift idea. I would suggest you purchase a 11"x14" mat and frame (available in most
discount stores as a stock item) and install the charcoal pencil drawing. Without a "mat", the frame
will not do the original justice. The "mat" is sometimes included with the frame. Just tape the corners
and sides of the fast drawing to the "mat", being sure to centre the sketch. The "mat" also protects
the art from the glass.

Question:
I have a very old photo that I would like to have made into a sketch drawing. I have blown up the
photo and it is pretty clear. I wanted to know if you would be able to draw this. If so, I would have
to send it by snail mail as I do not have a scanner. Please inform me if this would be ok.
Answer:
This is exactly what I do. Most of my customers send me their personal photos via regular snail mail or
courier. May I use my own discretion or do I replicate your photo exactly? Just let me know how many
alterations I may make to the layout, in order to give you the best results. If its a wedding photo, you
may want to show the full dress, however, the upper shoulder and head make for a much better layout
for a charcoal pencil drawing. A clear photo and some good direction, is most helpful.

Question:
I have three children and I want their portrait drawn for a Christmas present for their grandparents.
I am having difficulty picking the perfect photo to send you.
Answer:
I had some difficulty finding the perfect pic when I painted my own 2 daughters. I ended up using two
different photos and combined them into the new portrait layout. Be sure to send me a selection of your
favorite (2"x3" or larger) photos of each child's face, and I will combine them into the one family drawing.

Question:
I'm amazed! You're really done?! Having a strong artistic quality, the thought of having the 'actual' charcoal sketch appeals to me. In your experience, what is the quality of having the scanned copy vs the original?
Answer:
Normally, I'LL SHIP THE ORIGINAL DRAWING BY SNAIL MAIL but...    Email Delivery Option
Depending on the urgency or economical feasibility, I/or the client may opt to receive/send, by email, a "Printer Ready" electronic file of the drawing instead. This "replica" now becomes the "original".
