Welcome to the SUDBURY SUOMI LIONS CLUB
home page! Chartered in 1989, we are in our 10th year of operations
in Lionism. Guided by the late PDG Lion Arne Ritari, the Father of
Lionism in Finland, and sponsored by the Sudbury Lions Club, our Club
became the third Finnish Lions Club in Canada. And so it was, that
on January 4, 1990, PDG Lion Gerry Albert presented the first members with
their Lion's Charter pins. Ten years later, and we are in
cyberspace.
