Map of Shipwrecks

In the course of researching nine books about shipwrecks, I drew a rough map, posted it on a wall and marked the site of each lost ship. In time I had over five hundred locations. A professional designer drew the lands of the Atlantic region, laid out the boxes for ships' names and the lines to various localities. The ships' name and the year it was lost was added. I had several hundred printed.

The map of wrecks measures 34 inches by 22 inches, is printed on high quality antique parchment paper suitable for framing.

The oldest wreck is of the "John Knox" lost in 1830 near Isle aux Morts, while the most recent is the schooner "Norma and Gladys" abandoned in Placentia Bay in 1974. Between those years is a cavalcade of South Coast schooners wrecked or lost in practically every conceivable way...
