We are a Canadian family.  Both Kevin and I have fulltime careers and are in our late 30's. We have 2 teenagers, a daughter, and a son. Kevin is a car nut, likes walleye fishing, boating and is a pretty good handyman too.  And no this isn't a personal ad.  Kathy just likes to craft, garden and play on the computer.  As you explore our pages - you may find something that interests you or you may not.  Which is fine - after all this is just another family web page.

What is Vekkat? 
It is derived from our first names, of course, but mainly started out as a business name.  We tried, once upon a time, to be more entreprenuerial.  We still use the name in a very small business sense.  But as we are less business orientated, it is more of a reminder of what we can do together.  As to our adventure - well it's been 19 years.
