Self-Assessment / Aptitude Testing

Career Development Manual (University of Waterloo)
Takes the user through a "ladder system" of a career search and includes such steps as self-assessments, decision-making, occupational research, employer contact, resumes and interviews, with the end result being "the job". Includes career planning for students with disabilities.

Career Match-Up
Using an interests quiz and an aptitude quiz, the user discovers possible careers that match his or her personality. Each career is defined and summarized to give the user an idea of what aptitudes are required.

Employment Search Readiness Inventory
Question-based assessment that is analyzed by the computer for the user to determine if he or she is doing everything possible to find employment.

Essential Skills Assessment
Descriptions of essential skills, their purpose, and how data is collected database of essential skills profiles for each profession (under construction) with downloadable examples of existing profiles. Note: This site is a work in progress that should be completed within the next couple of months.
