Linksls'98

This golf game is, perhaps, the best on the planet. Microsoft golf is like pong, compared to it. If you have the retail version installed you can play multiplayer at Mplayer. The difficulty in that arises because one finds it rather tedious to find games where people want to play for "fun." Which is why most go and register at Case's Ladder, in order to obtain a ranking. Most matches at mp are for rank. The concept of rank is a bit inherently silly. Causes a few problems with better ranks not wanting to play worse ranks. Everyone wants an "upmatch" so that their rank will improve. Unfortunately, each upmatch has a participant who does not have the possiblility of advancement. Hence the dichotomy. The one's who won't give others chances, expect to receive chances. Skewed logic, if you ask me. Which is why I play anyone and don't ask what their rank is. I tend to get a tad bent at the "rank" question. Generally it is a good idea, it's just that some take it a little to far. A poor rank does not mean unskilled, it just may be someone starting. And I find some damn good players that way.
Anyway, I play there under the name of grim-x. Unfortunately, I was unable to use the underscore and went to a dash instead. If you like playing golf on your computer, get LinksLS98 and play on the net there.

Generally, it's a pretty decent bunch at mp. Just found out the other day that a couple of the guys are starting pages. Still just one pagers, but amusing and worth a glance at. Party-Boy, who is the former Marcusboy98 and a hilarious guy to golf against. Actually, Matcus has a lot more there. Very graphics intensive though. And then there's Scorpion26 a great golfer and a really funny page. Of course, nobody from mplayer will see this because they don't know my url. Maybe when this place is fleshed out a little. Another page to check out is that of Jamsite's, it's not a linkls98 page but is well done and interesting. Jamaica stuff!
This yet another page without any additions in a bit. Not playing as much net golf as I was. Actually went over three days without playing before I played a couple just now. Maybe I'll knock off another one or two before I go to bed. And then when I can't sleep, I'll get up and play another. So, what else is new?
